Amid COVID-19 pandemic, we are halting operations until futher notice

Before I deep dive into details, this is just a precaution.

The world is going through a terrible time at the moment due to COVID-19 pandemic. Millions have been affected and thousands have lost their loved ones.

As we know, New Zealand has had five confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far. There has been no extra confirmed cases in the last six days.

Also as of 13th March, there is currently over 3000 registered (people or households) in isolation. Over 6000 have completed isolation.

The Ministry of Health has advised with continued vigilance the chance of widespread community outbreak is expected to remain low.

Due to nature of the business our drivers come in contact when tens of people every week. Unlike other transportation service we travel in customer vehicles therefore unable to do our due diligence.

This also means, if our drivers come in contact with an individual carrying COVID-19 the chances of passing it on is very high. We want to make sure not just our drivers, everyone around us stays healthy.

Keeping our customers and drivers health in mind, we have decided to halt operations until further notice. This is just a precaution and we are following the updates from Ministry of Health.

How long?

We will keep an eye on the updates from Ministry of Health for the next few days. Depending on those updates, we will take the next step from there.

What does this mean for our customers?

As much as we want to keep providing the amazing service to our customers we also want our drivers to feel and stay safe. At this stage, we will not be accepting any bookings until further notice.

If you have confirmed bookings for this weekend and next week, you will be provided the service. However, if you or any of the passengers are feeling unwell you must advise us immediately.

Our drivers will, upon arrival, look for obvious symptoms and if they do see you are unwell. They may refuse to provide the service.

Please do let us know if you are feeling unwell and you will be provided a full refund.

If you have any questions or concerns about your booking please contact us.

If you are feeling unwell, stay at home and ring 0800 358 5453 now.
