The chase driver is the person who will pick up main driver after they drop customer off. The chase driver usually follows the main driver.
As the chase driver will not be carrying passengers therefore requirements are less.
- Must have full New Zealand driver license (or foreign equivalent that legally allows them to drive in NZ)
- Must have NZ road worthy motor vehicle. (Valid rego, WoF and at least third party insurance)
- Must provide a recent Ministry of Justice background check.
As we don’t carry passengers therefore it is not required to have Certificate of Fitness or a late model vehicle.
